I want to start our blog with the post about skiing in our mountains that we did on 7th of January.

The 7th of January is Russian Orthodox Christmas day and official day off in Kyrgyz Republic.

Do you know that 90% of Kyrgyzstan territory is mountainous area? It favors the development of skiing sports. So there are plenty of skiing resorts just around Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. And in less than one hour by car we were in one of them.

We were lucky as the night before it was snowing. There was a lot of snow and the day was sunny and warm and we all had great fun.
