Next week we start building events system.
Events system is the same concept as we invented on AngelDesk. I think you all use it and already know how it works. This system will not allow you to miss any important event without spamming your email. I am sure you all like event system on AngelDesk.
It will be possible to subscribe not only to watch article but also section or category. There will be special view to show events list and separate list to show subscriptions. User will be able to unsubscribe any topic or category as in topic or topic list as in special subscriptions list.
Of course it leads to 3 new elements in user menu
- articles in section he subscribed
- articles with new events
- Subscribe/Unsubscribe section
When Subscribe/Unsubscribe section user will be able to choose categories if he want to subscribe only some categories. Also select type if section is multiple type.
Email alert will be made as it is made on AngelDesk. User will not get new email on every new event like it was before. Once a day, week or month (depending on user settings) he will get email alert summary of all events.
By the way every section will have options. It is also user menu element which will open popup where user will be able to set what events he what to receive and what he do not.
