Is it possible to have another display option and transition type for the ItemList Carousel Template? It would be nice to have a (customizable) FADING transition. In my humble opinion a fade is less dramatic and more pleasing the visitors eyes.

I am not able to do this. The current technique is based on "jQuery Carousel plugin". Maybe other users have the ability to add a fading plugin...

Can all this be done with Mootools? Is it a better alternative, cause it ships with joomla.
