Thanks for your effort. It's wonderful idea but

I tried it doesn't work properly. When i select relate parent 3 field it added "Array" text as suffix. When i select simple select field it added "QWzEsW7EsWs=" (instead of regular text) as suffix.

It works only with textarea field.

Could you add more field option for "Add Field Content".

Also please make suffix divider textfield.

Ok, i maked a custom hack for me. :)

If you want to use Relate parent / child 3 plugin for "add field content" it will be an array.

I got first array value. It's article's id. And added an extra sql query that find this article's title. And it works successfully now.

Maybe it will be hard to make all plugins acceptable for "add field content" option for you. Because almost every field has different structure.

Btw, for select simple value, you must decode it. It's encoded by base64.

based on the support request, it will add a suffix to the title.

Example:
Lets assume you want to have a unique number at the end of your title, like "MyTitle 23", "My Title 24", etc etc then go to the parameters and select "Add Record Id" to 'yes' and divider to "Suffix divider" to 'Space'.
It will only add these unique suffix when you create an article. when you edit it nothing will happen, to avoid another suffix.
you can also select another field from the same type if you want to use it as a suffix. It should be a text, textarea or calendar field in the moment. 
I will upload later another version, which will support more field types.
The sequence is "Divider" "Field" "Record Id". It only adds it, if it is selected.

1) Added Field Filter (displays only supported field types)
2) Added "Edit Mode" functionality. Will detect if suffix was already added
3) Added "Backup Mode". (Original title/alias can be restored) Only from V0.7 onwards

Supported field types:
text, text_terix, calendar, calendar_terix, email, textarea, url, select_simple, radiobutton

for relate3 and select relate, we should consider different options.
Example for select relate: "last only", "first only", "all in line" ...
(maybe tomorrow as a sunday exercise... ;-) )

I try use it - there is anotrher thing.

When i submit article, and open that, the title has a twice ID "My Title 32 32"

... and after edit, one of that ID disapears - butthat ID from title in any lists

When I edit on backend, every time i save, new ID is added - "My title 32 32 32..."

Thanx for nice field!

For my custom title I use suffix divider "-", Field content from text field and Record ID, and my title looks like Title-text_fieldID. Is it possible to devide text_field and ID, that title looks like Title-text_field-ID ?

Hello,

I have a version 0.8.5 and have the same problem as janracz. When I edit my article in frontend, after save in title is new duplicated names like Title-Field-ID-Field-ID after next edit, title will be Title-Field-ID-Field-ID-Field-ID.

Here is written that from version 0.7 Added "Edit Mode" functionality which will detect if suffix was already added, but it doesn't work.
