Its been a while since this component has been updated... does that mean development has been dropped?

Cheers, DM.

In import section there is only CSV format support. No XML and RSS.

Yes, it works, as far as my "little" tests are concerned. There is much room for improvement and integration... i hope that a newer version will be integrated into resources 1.5++ (keep my fingers crossed)

Ooops, did i make a feature request for that?! ... ;-)

@Wolverine

As i mentioned in my previous post, its working. I just scratched the sureface and my import might be less complex than than yours...

I just had a quick look into your other support ticket, but i guess it is possible. I am not aware of the latest VM export capabilities. Does it have a build-in function? I know there is http://www.csvimproved.com

By the way, what is the reason for the switch to ME commerce...

Important info is #2 in the wiki:

http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jscmigrate/wiki/

otherwise you will get many red error messages and the import will be interrupted, or it is damaged and incomplete.

@maikkaune why they want to switch to Me commerce  are the commerce are better and VirtueMart you build all struckture from start so you have aviblaty to build that you wont with the first folder to finnish.
Yes I have work with VirtueMart before and I only use commerce for all e-handel solutions
