We reconsidered all Commerce concept. As we started to develop it as one component solution, now it turned to be a problem. We have custom article type in Content with custom fields and custom products in Commerce and other doubling functionality. It is not good to maintain the same functionality in different components. So the decision is: "JoomSuite Commerce - is a set of JoomSuite Components"

As all our components developed preferably for online businesses they become part of Commerce

• JoomSuite Content - will be used to create products along with any other content. This functionality will be implemented by creating fields type like: price, weight, product type and other commerce related. Also there will be added new options on type creation if this type is a product.
• JoomSuite Message - will be used in B2B, BB2B solutions to communicate and make product inquiry.
• JoomSuite User - will be used for user/seller/company registration depending on business model.
• JoomSuite Community - will be used to create seller/company's profile
• JoomSuite Bill - will be used to process payments.
• JoomSuite Analytics - will show reports for any of above components in flash dynamic diagrams.

And this is relay great news because, all those components are very advanced and you will not find Commerce solution that has so advanced user registration manager or so advanced custom product type creation as custom types by Content. You see it may be a little bit more complicated to install and configure for all components to relate to each other appropriate way, but result would be the best solution not only in Joomla world but in world in whole. What I want to say, that you woun't find anywhere ecommerce solution that can do everything Joomla, and all above listed JoomSuite Components can do together.

JoomSuite Content is an excellent alternative to Core Joomla Content except the fact it is much more advanced and allows to create own article types with different field sets.

Release 1.2 significantly differs from previous version.  New version has logic improved and many new parameters were added. Now the usage of JoomSuite Content as form generator or Support Desk becomes native.  Though there are new parameters added it became easier to manage parameters due to parameter inheritance change. You set parameters only in two places, when creating type and section.

Another importance is a template manager. You can quickly manage templates and set different template for every section or type. You can manage article, list, comment and rating templates.

All fields are made in a form of plugins, that is very convenient as allows easily create new custom field type or correct existing one.

Comments section keeps all comments on the site and allows to manage them. This is very convenient feature to see all comments in one place and be able to edit or delete them from the backend.   

Rating section does the same with all rating to all content items. You are now able to delete and edit all ratings form the back end.  Or simply see votes for particular visitors.

Tag section keeps and manages all tags. Here you can edit or delete some tags if they are not correct.

Also Content is adapted to core Joomla SEF and supports Joomfish.

That is not all features out there and you should definitely try it on your site and find out its power and excitement.

All reports are plug-ins and are provided separately from the component. This is very convenient because gives a way to create plug-in for any component.

Bill is a new billing system that allows receiving money from users and making out official invoices. Bills adapted to European Tax System and may be used for tax return.

This payment system may be used for any custom payments, donations, hosting payments or any other.

Language is a development tool for development components for Joomla 1.5
This component parse php and .xml files and compile en-GB.com_component.ini file both for front-end and for back-end. It also parses all your existing language translations and adds new indexes there for easy future editing.

First of all we are glad to inform that we fixed all bugs found to this day.

In this release we also implemented tags system. Tags are one-word descriptions which you choose yourself according your content. Tags are shown as links below the main text and clicking to them allows to see all the articles on the subject. Tags allow organizing more effective search through the web-site and improve your rankings. We also plan to develop a tag cloud module for better organization of your tags.

JoomSuite Content is a full featured component which easily will make your Joomla a video blog or a links directory, or a news portal or if you wish all together. This content management tool is so advanced that allows you to manage any type of content with so many levels structure as you wish.

In the version 1.1 we fixed all bugs to date. Also we added and activated content types like audio and telephone. Step by step we bring the component to its stable version.
