We releases new version of JoomSuite Member 2.1x.

This new release is approximate to be stable. All bugs found to the date are fixed. New features are implemented:
1. Discount coupons. This new feature allows you to give discounts to your clients. Coupons possess lots of features and may be adjusted to your needs.
2. Payments configuration now may be set for every subscription plan separately.
3. Extended configuration.

Attention! After installation of the last version of JoomSuite Member you need reedit all subscription plans and configuration of component type restrictions as all component type restrictions will disappear. And immediately update global JoomSuite Member configuration. Note that version 2.1.x will work only on Joomla 1.5.2 and further. Please update your Joomla first.

There are some news that I want to share with you. We have been working hard and below is what is done for the last month.

1. Video Tutorial for Defender. This 17 minutes lesson not only covers Defender usage but also explains what is attack and what is security in modern web.
2. Video Tutorials for Content (Installation & Create Gallery). I should mention that these lessons I created very quickly and they are not professional. They only give quick observation or ideas on how to use component and cover most important questions. So forgive me my English and pronunciation. But I'll tell you that we are preparing professional video tutorials and soon they will be published. We are waiting for US Professional Technical Trainer join us in our office soon.
   
   Content component is not as hard as may seems. If you get the idea of what it is I guaranty you will not start a project without this component.
3. JoomSuite Content new version released. Of course all bugs were fixed. New features of 1.0.16 are
   • Quite stable
   • Video and File field types have new way to set. You may upload files on article creation which is good when submit from front-end or you can FTP files and select from dropdown list which is more docMan style.
   • Cache pictures, video and files parameters.
   • Field icon select with preview.
   • New Filters module
   • Layout for user stuff like My Favorites, My rated, Last Visited,...
   • Can be used as form generator
   • Featured field for article
4. JoomSuite Member new version released. In 2.0.6 we inserted integration with content component. Now you can create plans for categories of JS Content. Count feature was also improved . Now Member remembers items user accessed with subscription and even user reach count limit, Member allows to see those pages till time expires. It may sound complicated but that is more intuitive way to create count limited subscriptions.
5. JoomSuite User new version released. This component was most buggy. But now it works ok. Added ZIP distance search.
6. JoomSuite Permission new version released. The great visual constructor added. Now you can create a rule XML with visual interface. No XML knowledge needed. This is big step and that is why it is not 1.0.1 but 1.1.0.

George attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville on a full Track & Field scholarship, where he studied Computer Science Engineering.

After College, the early 1990's, he spent 6 years in the Air Force as Law Enforcement K9 Handler, 5 years of which he spent on the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan were he found a passion for electronic communities while administrating a popular island Bulletin Board System called Gebo's Imagination running on Windows 98 and WildCat 5 BBS. This was right at the time that HTML was a ТnewУ mark-up language, and animated .gifs defined the creativity of a website developer.

After the military, He started his Fortune 500 career for 5 years with RealNetworks, Inc. as a Technical Program Manager where he managed development teams supporting the Real Player, innovating web applications and individual projects for the Real.com website and E-Commerce Systems, CBS Survivor, CBS Big Brother Live 24 hour Feed, Major League Baseball, NBA, NASCAR, PGA, Oxygen Network, and Pope John Paul II, to name only a few.

He then worked approximately 2 years at Amazon.com were in a short period, he worked on projects for CD Now, Drugstore.com, and Toys 'R' Us, before deciding to take control of balancing his passion for Internet Development and his family life by leaving the 'DotCom' industry and moving to San Antonio, Texas. He now focuses on growing his personal business, the Gaboink! network, as an Online Business Development Consultant and Project Manager, and has a special interest in Web 2.0 Community technologies.

He teaches Speed & Agility to athletes in his local community, where is a very active in coaching his 12 year old son's select youth baseball team, as well as supporting his 15 year old daughter during her high school competition dance team routines.

Two new sections were opened on the site. They are Bug Tracer and Feature request. These sections were created with ability to comment and rate. Thus everyone can express his/her opinion on new features and abilities that should be or should not be added to a new releases. Or get bug fixed quickly and officially. Please, we encourage you to use these sections very actively.

We also pay your attention that that these sections were created with com_resource which actively demonstrates abilities and flexibility of JoomSuite Content component for creating almost everything.

We do not publish news on new components releases because sometimes we release 2-3 versions of the component a day to provide quickest support as possible. So we'll post once or twice a week about updates.

Friends, customers, admirers, guests, enemies.

Many people dream to start new projects on Joomla 1.5 but they do not do that just because there are not enough components out there. Therefore we are happy to announce our new project JoomSuite launch. This project is totally dedicated to Joomla 1.5 native. And it offers you excellent solutions right now.

Though some of the components are in beta stage you can start using them and help us to fix all bugs. We are commercial company, so all errors and bugs will be fixed shortly. When we release a component and find errors there we update the release sometimes 5 times a day. But we do not allow errors to live in our components more than for 3-5 days if it is not a case of emergency of course. Thus it is doomed to be fixed in few hours.

Yet, almost all of our components you can start to use for free and get 6 month free beta testing license.
