I am sure that everyone who watch TV (at least time to time) knows that there is event happening in Kyrgyzstan.  They try to change government. In fact they already changed. But situation is very unstable. Uncontrolled groups of people going around the city and mug everyone on their way. At least everything that is not protected enough and where they do not meet powerful resistance.

For all those who want to be alerted on how Resources development is going, I recommend to read our blog.  There developer is posting often and report what is done and how things are going.

Resources 1.5 is going to be next generation content management (CCK) component for Joomla.  While it is still holding leading position – it gain not only number of new features, it gets brain power materialized in to UI. MightyExtensions developers work in conjunction with scientists who make researches in Content Management area.

Community Polls for Mighty Touch from CoreJoomla – Community Polls component allows users to submit polls and vote from the frontend. Now integrated with Mighty Touch avatars and activity stream. Find extension on our site or go to CoreJoomla to know more.

Layar Integration – this integration script helps you to convert Mighty Resources articles into Layar content. It is a so-called POI-server (Points of Interest) that tells Layar about Resources articles nearby the user. It takes the longitude and latitude that are created by the address field of the article for knowing a POI. Then it returns information from other Resources fields to Layar and that is shown on the mobile phone. Read more about Layar Integration or visit the extension website.

RSS Import Field - The RSS import field is meant to show an external RSS feed within a Mighty Resources article. In editing mode, a user can enter the URL of an RSS feed, and that feed is then shown in the article. Read more about RSS Import Field.

Twitter Import Plugin - The Twitter Import plugin makes it possible to import recent Tweets into a record, either through entering a Twitter username or a keyword, or through an automatically generated keyword based on the title of the record. Read more about Twitter Import Plugin.

Mod Featured Items Slideshow - This module can display images from your Joomla! articles as a slideshow, with a caption taken from the text, and a link to the articles. We released new version of Mighty Membership 2.5.3. New version includes new helpful and waited features.

New advanced feature is called "Auto Content Delivery". This feature allows to create main subscription with few children subscriptions that will be accessible in the future. This feature is very convenient for step by step lessons for example. You create subscription for a course that longs for one year. There will be six lessons in this course and two month for every lesson to study. Thus you create subscription plan with 6 children plans within. The first lesson will be activated right after the purchase made, next will be activated right after the first class ends (f.e. in two month) and so on. And with it the user must not make purchase every two month and pays just once. The time of child subscription ends is flexible to set. It may end at the same time as parent subscription or according to the date set in configuration.

Some more minor features are added.

Invisible in history – allows to hide subscription from user’s subscription history.

Alert User – this feature alerts user on purchase made.

Purchases limit – allows to limit the number of subscriptions for one plan. As this limit is exhausted the plan automatically becomes invisible for users.

Subscription plans page template – allows to set template for subscription plans page. Now there are two templates available. The old one with payment buttons at the bottom of the page. Second has payment buttons near each plan. Parameters of selecting template is in Menu item settings.
