First of all I want to say that we used logic of world wide websites like Amazon and eBay to build coupons and gift certificate logic. Coupons logic completely differs from gift certificate logic. Gift certificate is fixed sum of money which grant to certain user. This is not discount item like coupon. If you set gift certificate on $100 for 2 users and one user uses $80 then the second user gets only $20. So if you need provide gift certificates on $100 for 2 users then you have to create 2 gift certificates on $100, i.e. total is $200. 
You need use coupons to provide discounts for all users or certain plan subscribers. If you need make $10 discount for the first purchasing of any subscription plan then you need create coupon for each subscription plan depending on subscription plan cost.
If you have some ideas or suggestion about changing of coupons and gift certificates logic then please add topic to Feature Request section.

This function was disabled starting from the version 2.4.4, because basically similar things could be achieved by restrictions options, so in 99% this is not usable and only confuses users.

So if you have used this function before and want to continue to use it you just need to go to the pointed file and uncomment this lines. To new users who intend to use this function please be absolutely sure of what you do and use it only if there is indeed no way to apply restrictions using methods which Member provides.

Article and User individualization is functional for core Joomla content articles and works by means of placeholders system {JCSBOT SUBSCRIPTION=x1,x2,x3..} and {JCSBOT USER=y1,y,2,y3..}, here
x - subscription id number where the article individualization is ticked,
y - user id who will have access to this article if he/she has active subscription where user individualization is ticked.
Placeholders supposed to be placed at the very top of article which you want to place under subscription.

Common usage:

• Article individualization is useful in cases you want to display one appropriate core content to different subscribers.
• User individualization is useful for creating different individual articles for different users that have only one subscription for them.

PS: There is another type of placeholder which also can be useful. Its syntax is {JCSBOT SKIP}. Basically it is used without any additional parameters for subscription plan, and what it does is skipping article in restricted section, ie. it makes the article accessible for free, even if the section the article belongs to is under subscription.

Moving User to other group on subscription creation feature was depreciated and removed from Member component.
We eliminated this because in 999 of 1000 cases it was used incorrectly.

Member component can grant to a member different access levels by subscription plans. Every plan is actually a user group.
Every one who purchases a plan, becomes a member of this group for the period set in the plan.
User may purchase 2-3 plans and be a member of 2-3 groups at the same time when every group/plan offers different access level.

Member component controls the access level itself and makes it more flexible and useful.

Note: If you believe that you are that 1 of 1000 case, we can still enable you this feature but you need to contact us and confirm that this is your case.

However, you can create a procedure that is very similar. You can achieve the same result in 2 steps: Registration and redirection.

To have autologin with redirection you need:
1. To have latest JoomSuite User and Member components

5. On the same page find Secret Word parameter and enter anything there. The same word you should enter in 2CO plugin parameters on plan creation.
