Analytics Reports are set up by administrator in the joomla back end and are to be viewed on the front-end.

Reports cannot be created if you do not have Analytics reports installed and published. The reports are installed as normal plugins.

The steps to be taken to create a report are as follows:

1) Prior to creating a report, make sure you have at least one category in 'Report Categories' section. If you don't have any, create one: Go to Mighty Analytics --> Report Categories. Click the 'New' button. Name the category, set other parameters for it if needed and save it.

Categories are needed to group the reports.

2) Go to Mighty Analytics --> Reports

3) Click the 'New' button

4) Give a name to the report in the 'Report Title' field.

5) Select a report plugin from the 'Report Plugin' drop-down list

6) Publish the report

7) Set 'Access Level' to it

8) Select a category for the report from the 'Category' list

9) Adjust necessary parameters in the 'Params' section

10) Set other parameters in the 'General' section as per your requirements

11) Save the report

Now you need to create a menu item to link to the report:

1) Go to Menus and choose a menu where you want to place the link

2) Click the' New' button and then click Mighty Analytics --> Reports

3) Name the menu item somehow and select the report(s) you need it to point to in the 'Reports' list on the right

4) Save the menu item.
