If you wish to add username, name, or usertype into the newsletter sent by the MightyExtensions Massmail Component, the only thing you need is just add the following variables into the letters:

[USERNAME]

[NAME]

[USERTYPE]

Here is a small example:

Hello [NAME].

We are sending you a newsletter because you have subscribed for the newsletters on our web site.

We would like to inform you that we are adding some new features on our web site.

....

You may organize unsubscribe option as follows.

• In MightyExtensions Registration component create a "Checkbox" field with value "Subscribe to newsletter". Then you actually allow users to subscribe during registration.
• When you create letter add text at the bottom that if user wants to unsubscribe, he may login to the site and uncheck "Subscribe to newsletter" checkbox in profile edit page.
