Да некоторые отличия есть, в функционале но совсем незначительные. Этот компонент, был перенесен на версии Joomla 1.6-2.5 исправлены ошибки, и было  добавлено несколько дополнительных функциональных возможностей.

Насчет русской локализации,  пока полностью готового перевода нету. Мы работаем над этим. Все кто желает перевести на нужный язык этот компонент,  могут сделать это сами, либо скачать уже имеющийся перевод, который сделали другие пользователи здесь :

I am not sure what this means. I own a Mighty Suite that contains Advanced Resources and Membership for Lifetime.

"Therefore, we will not support a free upgrade from version  of Joomla 1.5 to version 2.5 for those users who buy/download a component Resource or Membership after the 1st of April 2012."

So this means no upgrade for me?

and also...

"Those users who have purchased the components Membership for 3 months to 1 April, we will provide 100% of the purchase of a component Emerald for Joomla 2.5.

Those users who have purchased the components Membership for 6 months to 1 April, we will provide 50% of the purchase of a component Emerald for Joomla 2.5"

So people with lower subscriptions of these components get Emerald for free and 6 months 50% off? I am confused by this for the pricing and the previous statement that said we wont get an upgrade.

Well Mighty, it was fun for the brief time it lasted... I wish it hadn't cost me so much, though.

By the time your components for 2.5 are ready for my needs, I won't be eligible for any discount whatsoever on "Lifetime" software, given the above model.

And Webmaker is very right. Even in my short time, I have spent as much time being a bug tester as I have learning to make use of Mighty products, so to see someone like Webmaker get priced out of an upgrade after YEARS, tells me to take my consumer dollars where customer loyalty matters as much as product quality therefore earning money rather than holding me hostage for it.

I hope the new product takes off, and I hope Mighty (or Mint, or whatever it is you are branded as this time around) sees its way to standing by its customers as well as its products.

Евгения, я переводил абсолютно все вхождения в мембере для джумла 1.5, т.е. максимально полный перевод для 1.5 есть.

Смотрел структуру нового языкового файла, она отличается, но вхождения все одинаковые. Можно просто преобразовать старый файл в новый.

У меня такой вопрос: Я делаю сайт для небольшого предприятия - Общество с ограниченной ответственностью . Возможно-ли оплатить за мембершип с расчетного счета этого предприятия и получить от вас нужные документы для бухгалтерии?

Лаврик Игорь По поводу документов незнаю, но если что бухгалтерия, данные расходы можно внести в хоз потребления, если бухгалтер не может такую сумму вместить кудани будь, то это не бухгалтер, если суть в 1С то в хоз. расходы включите да и всего то,  тут суть должа существовать от того что вы собственно хотите от данного модуля? документы или какието допалнительные функции на сайте, тут вопрос к работодателю. Я конечно ни на кого не работаю, но я расматриваю как для себя мне всеравно кто что стоит главное работало и приносило приболь остальное, думаю сами разберетесь. Но такие мометны собственно лучше адресововать к бухгалтерам, ибо грамотный бухгалтер сможет любые расходы сделать так как оно должно быть для организации, если нет тогда меняйте глав буха, либо отправляйте персонал на повышение квалификации, говорю не из опыта веб а из программирования и обслуживания 1С. Нет того что нельзя реализовать главное желание!! Спасибо разработчикам данного модуля, расмотрел все и приобрету примерно в Июне! Надеюсь на развитие дальнейшее этого замечательного модуля (Плагина).

it's with a heavy heart that I'm going to see elsewhere if the grass is greener ...Mighty started to disappoint me when they changed the way of support by paying to have help for products that didn't work 100% all the time. Support was good at the beginning and updates came often ..

I 'll maybe be back with your products in a few years, when all customers will have already test le them...

Try to go to http://www.mightyextensions.com/download-joomla-components and download updates of the product you bought before. I am sure you will find the latest version there. (Resources was updated just 24 days ago). At least for me under my account it is working.

I can still download all my licenses without additional payment. Maybe something in your settings is messed up. I would advice to contact support.I am sure they will help you to get access to the download section again. Did you try to post your problems on the support desk?

Did you try to post your problems on the support desk? I can do this without any additional payment. I  just checked it. Even anonymous poster will receive support there without any payment. 

Thanks to MightyResources, i could create solutions which would have cost me MUCH MUCH more time and money. These extensions pay off in no time.

My heart is not less heavy to read statments like thins. What ever we do we were not intendent to disapoint or lose any of loyal customers like you have always been. I understand your feelings, I do not know what to say to turn you back. I just want to say that Cobalt is quite better in terms of stability. ANd it is not beta already. We have new way to release updates. Now we cut version, create brunch and continue adding features to new branch and only fix current version as soon as it reach stability.

Please, even if you not gonna use it any more, keep one eye on it's updates and news. Because future of Cobalt is very promising. Even now it has much more advantiges like speed improvment, notification system. That we were able to acheve only because we created it from scratch. Totally new extension. Not even single line of the code from Resources. We were able to solve all Resources shortcomings. Like some poeople say Cobalt is Resources on steroids. But that had side effect. We cannot provide free update because we invested a lot into this app.

As i understood, Cobalt is for free, right? At least i can not see any amount anywhere on the side. 
I consider Cobalt a new product as well, based on the features, possibilities and even more
on the performance.
And when it comes to the fields, they are all like individual applications with their own "intelligence".
They are much more advanced than the Resources fields. 
I believe everyone who is looking into Cobalt seriously would even be happy to spent some small 
amount for them even as an appreciation of your work.

Just make a simple computation, how much worth your work is and how much time and effort
you can save with these solutions.
For me, this is a no brainer, how valuable these applications are.

Be thankful, that there even is a new "Resources" called "Cobalt". Maybe some people were not active on the ME forums or just missed reading between the lines to notice some serious changes in the past. Overall, I am really glad to see MJ extension development is going on... some weeks ago, even this decision was not even clear or made!

SUPPORT:
Support is still free! I bet you will get answers and help in a reasonable timeframe. You can pay for very important and crucial issues... but you don´t have to! If you open your eyes and ears, Support and help is outstanding.

PRICES:
I know, the new payment model is different, but the Cobalt Component and all simple fields are totally free! In general, price ranges are always arguable and good for discussions. Everone has a different opinion on this... but do not forget about this: 
All purchases are lifetime. No Domain restrictions! You can just buy what you really need. Simple as that.

Though, I got a very generous Gift from Sergey, I wouldn´t hesitate to buy the component itself. I was not sure at the beginning... but the extra fields are worth every penny, and I already purchased some new ones. A nice sideeffect, i don´t have to buy each and every addon. If there is a suitable new project or application, I can decide to buy an extra field or not.

COMPETITOR:
Just compare the search and filter capabilities with any other so-called "CCK" solution for Joomla. If you don´t need the cobalt power and you can live with other free stuff... go with it and be happy. I can´t see any competitor with similar possibilities. Except for Drupal ;-)

Some JoomlArt members here? Even ClubMembers have to buy the new JA WALL template for $49 !?! That might be a reason for moaning ;-)

Thank you Maik. Very important point. There is no competitor right now not only among Joomla extensions but even among standalon out-of-the-box solutions. (exept for Drupal :))

Although some of them has strong filtering, but at the same time they also have fixed fields the filters applied on. You have filtering, but you cannot extend content leeping power of filters. What I mean you always limite to some extension. But Cobalt concept try to offer you unlimited constructor.

That would mean, if I bought Adobe Photoshop 1.0, I should get PS CS6 for free!? A Windows 1.0 license allows me to get v.8 for free... I would be interested in Adobe's and Billyboy's reply.

A so-called "Grace Preiod" is the only fair solution for all existing customers. Nothing less was offered by ME. Maybe in bad english, but thats not what some people criticized here.

BTW, here is another example to moan: Ever watched the latest prices for "migration tools" on iJoomla.com products? $100++

To be fair.   When I read the announcement I did not understand it.  And thought that because they made it in English it was miss typed.  Now years ago Sergey and I talked about how to get more users for MightyExtensions and came up with the use it for free and buy the addons concept.  So maybe it is time to re-think the business model.  One thing I know for sure is that people on the net are in most cases cash poor.  That is why they try and build a site to make extra cash.  Not to mention geographic monetary problems.  I would suggest that Sergey keep the "basic for free"  concept but switch to a moderate annual or 6 month subscription based payment for paid members.  For users like myself that build with every one of the fields it could be more confusing than anything else to buy one at a time unless once bought permanent access to download is available.  

To a new customer maybe only buying one or two extra fields can be effective and affordable. But for power users..not effective.

 What seems to be the issue is customer loyalty from the "1.5 users" of Resources..  etc.  Note that this is not what I was trying to start with my comment above.  However,  the reactions generated are a cause for concern and should be addressed.  

I think that the re-branding of the components is the real problem here.  Ofcourse,  it was done so that it could be charged accordingly.  But,  promoting it on the Mighty site has caused the issues with older customers.  If any of you understand what I am saying..   Its not mightyresources version 2.5..  its  cobalt.  Its not mightymembership,  its Emerald...   the old users feel cheated out of the Lifetime upgrades..  

As for me.  I am impartial...   and will still help people build using either framework..  as a gesture of my total support for Sergey and his crew.  I am going to upload all the Mighty Resource Templates I created for for free download and will start to transition them to Cobalt.  I will do this as soon as I can I am very busy traveling these days for many clients.  But,  I will get it done.

I was in a hurry and didn't follow the news since support became not free.

I was angry because I felt I will have to rebuild my site soon with J2.5 and then, I will need to rebuy the MightyExtension.

I understand now, that this is not Resources but Cobalt, etc.  but howether and tell me if I'm wrong, MightyResources won't be upgrade for J2.5 and so, I 'll need to purchase all specials fields for Cobalt than I paid for in Resources, and when I make calcul, it will be more expensive than what I paid before.

Whatever, your job is great, we can make anything with it (I made a virtual cimetery !!) and I apologise from having writing comment too fast.

I don't make money with my website, so, you can understand why I was a little angry.

I want to appologize for quite some confusion, created by our earlier comments within our loyal client base. 

Please feel free to post any problem, finding or suggestion to our products, regardless if it is our MightyExtension products or even the new generation like Emerald and Cobalt. If you take some time and follow the discussions, you will see that we still fixing and updating our classic extensions.

Please kep in mind that Joomla 1.5 reached its end of life in April 2012. The Joomla 2.5 architecture is quite different from Joomla 1.5, which forced us to rewrite our Resources component. Because of all the new features (ACL, etc) this major rewrite was needed. All our experience in building a major CCK as well as new technologies (HTML 5, CSS3, etc) and valuable feedback from our client community were put together to create an even greater solution - COBALT. Even if it looks "similar" to most of the users (this was done to provide a faster learning curve for you, our existing clients), it is a much more pwerfull extension. Against the advice of some of our clients, we decided to offer the new Cobalt component for free. If you download the package, you will find a selection of free fields included, which will let you start building a CCK driven website immediately -- without any charge. "MightyResources won't be upgrade for J2.5 and so, I 'll need to purchase all specials fields for Cobalt than I paid for in Resources"

You are right. Based on its architecture, Resources will not work under Joomla 2.5.x. Nevertheless, on our Roadmap of Cobalt 8 (2nd generation) which will be released later this year with new Enterprise-ready functionality, an import utility for different data sources will be included, where among others, Resources will be supported. You have to understand, that through the complexity of our fields, data is stored in different ways and an import automatism is a very complex task. We started already on the development and are qute confident to deliver another outstanding product.

I would just advice you to try Cobalt for yourself to get a feeling for this new technology. Make also your comparisons to other systems and see what fits best to your work flow. I am sure, that as an experienced Resources user, you will not have a difficult time to get used to Cobalt. If you can find a better system, I would highly appreciate some feedback, so that we see where we can still improve our product.

Actually, you can download Cobalt with basic fields for free.

Just if you need additional fields, modules or templates, that's the time to buy or subscribe to the advanced/additional packages.

I would suggest to download Cobalt already to get familiar with the new functionality. Thats the best way to find out what you really need

Membership -> Emerald should be possible and relatively easy. AFAIK, it uses the same DB structure and tables)

There is NO Defender for J25.

There is NO Registration for J25. How complex is you profile information? But "Registration" could be replaced by another extension!)
