Like a customer would think: where is this plugin? links are missing in your article. Is it the same media plugin I already have?  The plugin packages in the download section are modified on 04th Dec 2008 last time. Your article is from 19th Dec 2008? What version is announced here and what is the exact title of the installer zip? Maybe I already have downloaded the plugin within a package.

 Please put more detailed information in your announcement article for better understanding

media field available in Advanced Fields package. YOu need to download package and unzip it and there you will find plg_field.media.v.*.*.zip

Any progress on this field?  I am trying to overcome a limitation with Resources in the amount of images that a customer can upload.  I either have to duplicate the "pictures" type multiple times in content or use something like this new media plugin. 

Please either fix Gallery to allow multi uploads or finish this plugin as this function is critical to my success with Resources.  

Also, I tried using this with FF3, IE7, and Chrome with no success via frontend/backend.

We urgently try to fix this plugin. But we meet very dificult proble. Upload in Flash 10. Try to google this problem and you will understand how it is big all over internet. Fancyupload was fixed but fixed version require mootools JS library 2.0 but Joomla has 1.2 and if update Joomla mootool library other Joomla stuff like tabs does not work.

So theat means if you have flash lower then 10 then it is the reason but if you have version 10 then JS not compatible.

So we had to write our own JS library which took lot of time. We plan release on monday new version.

hi.
I have to say - the flash player is not working, the advanced media field and the advanced gallery field are not working also.

the flashplayer is not playing. the upload of jpegs via media or gallery field is not allowed ... hell ...

Why I can not find any documentation about these fields and their usage? if they would do what they are supposed to do I would be very very happy because that's why I purchased Joomsuite this week - but they do not.
no sound at all.

maybe they stop working at weekend ... sorry but I'm really in trouble now because the software I have paid for is not doing anything. I have no weekend - I have customers - maybe I had customers.

i have read all the above & it's really helpful in addressing the points you should take care of when coming to web designing, joomla is a real good tool to use
but also some more factors are required to have a unique, attractive design as being talented, experienced & self motivated to deliver the best you can

Look our client section and amaze. See Resources is only a tool and you can see difference. Some people do excellent sites and some general.

This means Resources provide ability to create general look with no coding required.

But to create really nice formated websites like http://www.letstruck.com/ one should create custom templates. And we cannot produce them because of unexpected number and types of the fields of article types.

But in Resources 1.5 there will be packer for redistribute your formated section including templates. That will make it possible to distribute custom templates along with types and categories..

please tell me how to publish news in joomla by anyone.

You need to allow frontend users to submit news from frontend.
