Hi,

My payment gateway is working fine. However, after the processing, it takes the user to this page:

https://www.mysite.com

and they appear to be logged out.  Trying to log back in is not possible until they get rid of the 's' and start at http://www.mystite.com

Is there an option i just havent clicked, such as a page redirect or something in the membership/registration components????

Thanks!!

Hello,

In Membership plan there is a field 'Redirect To' where you can specify the URL to redirect subscriber after payment. Try it please.

Kind regards.

Hello Steve,

What payment gateway are you using? If you use several payment gateways, tell me if the issue occurs with each of them or with a particular one. Also, I would like to have an admininstrator account to your site. You can post the details here and hide the comment or send me them to my email on help[at]mightyextensions.com

Kind regards.

Hello Steve,

You're using PayPal Pro US payment gateway. It is not ours, we do not support it, you probably bought it at osdcs.com, right? Please ask their developers for help.

Kind regards.

Hello Steve,

Maybe it is not a payment gateway issue, but try to make sure. Most likely Membership has nothing to do with that because it does not deal with user logination at all. The issue may be caused by some module or plugin installed into your joomla site.

Kind regards.

Hello Steve,

No, we do not have any other 3rd party developers that make payment gateways for MightyExtsions. But why do you ask?

I would like to say again, that the issue you're experiencing may have nothing to do with the payment plugin either, because actually neither Membership nor its payment plugins deal with user logination. The issue can be caused by some other module or plugin you have in your joomla. I hope you will manage to find the cause.

Kind regards.

Hi Tatyana,

yes, I have found the cause.  it was the payment gateway and roled it back to an older version that works better.

It would be really a great service if you added support for say the top 3 payment gateways.  that is, paypal, authorize, and others.

When there is only one payment gateway developer, sometimes you can get lost in shuffle if gateway is difficult to develop and keep up with.

my options now are to use the older version or move to a different gateway.

thanks for help.

Hello,

That's fine that you've found the cause.

Regarding your suggestion: we can only support our payment plugins, which were developed by our programmers; these are Offline, 2CheckOut and PayPal plugins. We cannot support 3rd party plugins.

Kind regards.

Hi,

yes, I understand.  But from what I understand, these options do not offer a gateway for individual to use credit card online at their respective website...

is this correct?

Also, why would programmers not develop for Authorize.net, one of largest in world.....!?

what is Offline?

Hello,

2CheckOut and PayPal do accept online payments with credit cards.

Regarding Auth.net: we are not specialized at developing payment plugins, we did all we could : PayPal, 2CheckOut and Offline plugins. We will not be creating any other payment gateways, we have a partner who does it and you know them.

Offline plugin is designed for offline payments. It does not redirect to any of the payment system site: user clicks on it, an unpublished subscription for them gets created and then user gets an email with payment instructions. Payment instructions should be written in the Offline payment plugin by administrator.

Kind regards.

No, our PayPal gateway redirects user to Paypal site and they pay there.

Kind regards.

Hello,

I talked with our CEO about this and he said that we would not develop such a plugin. I am sorry but we have reasons for that.

Best regards.
