Hi,

sorry, i am drawing a blank and i looked in many language files.  I simply want to change the url that accompanies an auto-message

ie.  www.yoursite.com:443.

changed to

www.yoursite.com

simply getting rid of :443 on all auto-created messages for registration and activations

Thanks!

Finally.  I kept looking in the wrong folders. it was in the administrator language directory.  I can change manually.

But here is my question now.  Does [SITEURL] pick up my site url from the config.php file or somewhere else?  This is where the 443 is coming from....

Thanks.

Just as a note too that I would like to know if I can fix.

the [NAME] tag creates more than usual spacess bewteen first and last name

for example.  it does this:   Joe   Johnson

?

[SITEURL] is taken from joomla configuration:

$sitename       = $mainframe->getCfg( 'sitename' );

i.e. we cannot influence on this value, you may find getCfg function in libraries\joomla\application\aplication.php Try to cantact hoster to find out why port 443 is added to the url

I am sorry, you need this one:

$siteURL        = JURI::base();

I just mess up variables. See this script: libraries/joomla/enviroment/uri.php
