Hi Mighty Team and All

In the user's control panel, (Commerce Cpanel- Mighty Commerce) clicking on the 'Add Product' button to add a new record,  I get an error:-

Not enough access rights to access this page
The reasons why you may not access this page

* You are not registered
* You are not logged in
* You are not in the right user group
* Article expired

Error

* Given type is not allowed into this section

or, on the other site where I have installed Mighty Commerce:-

* No type defined. Please check menu link parameters.

I have looked at all the settings I can, but I didn't have this problem before, and this is happening on two separate sites. If I make a menu link so that I can add a new record/add new product, it is ok, though.

I have looked through the forum but couldn't find anything related to this problem. Maybe I am just missing something. Thanks for any help,

Kind regards, Joe

Hello

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. To save your time, I have tried various ways to get around this problem, but still have the same error. I have installed older versions, and different combinations of versions, yet there is always one main error, but depending on which version, different errors. Using the latest version, (fully updated), everything seems to work, except the Control Panel link ' Add Product'.

Now, as I have said before, if I create a menu link to enable me to add a product, I can add a product. This seems to be some sort of permissions problem, but if it was 'global' I shouldn't be able to create an actual menu link to enable me to 'Add Product'. When I use older versions of Mighty Commerce, I do not get this problem at all.

When using the latest versions of Mighty Commerce, Resources, Invoice, Membership and Registration, I have that one problem with the Control Panel, but I also have another problem on the site - one of the links in the Forum (Kunena) doesn't work- it just gives a blank page. It is the link for 'Recent Discussions', but it is only a problem if I am logged in as administrator. I do not have this problem if I use older versions of Mighty Commerce, or being logged in as a Registered User. I have turned on Error Reporting (maximum) and Debug System in Joomla Global Configuration, but still just shows a blank page.

I have tried creating different 'Types', to see if that helps, and different Reosurce Categories, with different options enabled and disabled, still the same. I just don't understand why the 'Add Product' link doesn't work in the Control Panel, but I can create a link to add a product. Any ideas would be great, thank you.

Kind regards, Joseph

this is bug of Resources and Commerce components. We are fixing this problem next version of the Commerce component. Please disable adding of products from Commerce Cpanel layout until we release next version of Commerce component.

Hello

Thank you for taking the time to look at the site today. I don't know if this is related, but when most of the Mighty components are installed, some of the links in the Kunena forum no longer work, (as I have mentioned before), but when I install Mighty Touch as well, the forum is just a blank page, (and I can only access it if I can put links in to the address bar to specific threads) - but only if I am logged in as super admin on the front end.

Another thing that I would like, as a feature request if possible, is if I have chosen to use Community Builder for seller's profiles in the Product Categories list , it isn't linkable to their Community Builder profile, which is a shame, is it possible I can 'hack' a core file to do this?

Thanks again for your excellent and very fast support, and for making such a great product,

Kind regards, Joseph

I have tried to login your project (with out success) to switch error reporting to maximum to see errors on the blank pages. Actually we do not support any 3dp scripts. So please activate error reporting in joomla global configuration to see errrors.
