Hello

A customer has purchased an item from a member, and the customer keeps getting email notifications, as below:-

Your bill with order id 4L417422MW7416426 was successfully paid on MySite http://www.(domain).com/.
You can look through the invoice clicking on the link http://www.(domain).com/index.php?option=com_jsbill&task=invoice&id=58&Itemid=0.

They have received several of these emails already, and they will not stop. If you could give me an idea where I can check this, I will be grateful, thank you,

Hello!

The invoice is sent when somebody has purchased it so vendor should as many letters as his product was purchased. Please look how many invoices has user in the http://www.(domain).com/index.php?option=com_jsbill&view=bill&layout=history or in the administrator panel Mighty Invoice->Bills . If user has just one paid bill please provide us with superadministrator access to your site to let us check this issue.

Hello Katerina

I have had a look at the bills, but there is only one invoice showing for that item/customer/member. Is there a setting for notifications in the invoice component?

Hello! The letter of paid bill should be sent only one time, after paying bill. The component was written so only one time the letter is sent and there is no special settings on notification. If only problem persists you can provide us administrator access to the site. Either post the details here and hide the comment or send me them to my email on help[at]mightyextensions.com Regards

Hello Katerina

I have investigated this a bit further, and it seems it may be related to a problem with the customers browser, Internet Explorer 8. They were trying to 'add' a shipping address at the checkout, but it wouldn't save the information, and the amount of times they kept trying to add their address to the checkout seems to correspond to the amount of invoice notification mails. I haven't been able to work out why their Internet Explorer browser behaved like this, but it worked ok with Firefox.
