Good Day

The js inbox does not send out new email notifications and everything is set up correctly.  What could it be?

Thank you

I also have the same problem. Other notifications (from Resources) are being sent by the server. But inbox notifications are not.

Hello,

Each user should set it on the front end. For instance, if I want to get email notifications I go to Inbox->Options and set Send new messages alert on your email to Yes.

Regards.

Hy,

I need this too. Is there a possibility that I can set this parameter for users to default YES? So that they have to check NO in their options if they don´t want to get any e-mails.

regards

Hello,

Please install the plugin attached and then open joomla/administrator/components/com_jsinbox/user_options.xml and find line <param label="Send new messages alert on your email" name="send_copy_on_email" type="radio" default="0" description="" > . Change default="0" to default="1". Then by default the setting will be set to Yes.

Kind regards.

I installed this and made the mod. Is there a way for me to turn this on now for my users vs. the new users who will get it turned on?

Is there a place in the database it is stored that I can change?

ALSO: Can I send a notice to an administrator? Maybe hack the plugin somewhere?

Thanks

Hello,

1) You cannot change users settings manually. the data is not stored in database. Your old users should change the settings manually.

2) Mighty Message does not allow sending a notice to an administrator; there is no plugin for Mighty Message, so I will try to find out what files of the component need to be modified for implementing that.

Kind regards.

I've found it out: the feature cannot be implemented, since the files that need to be modified are encrypted.

the information was not encrypted
I manually changed the existing users setting by going to:

/components/com_jsinbox/user_options
each user has a file for example 62_username
the file will look something like this:

send_copy_on_email=1
addition_email=
disable_inbox=0
default_save_in_sent=0
recieve_only_from_friends=0
recieve_only_from_my_groups=0
recieve_addressed_to_groups=0
recieve_new_message_alert=1
recieve_message_read_alert=1
signature=
I only changed the first line from:
send_copy_on_email=0
To:
send_copy_on_email=1
