Because Resources sets virtually *all* parameters via the section and type, with no options to override at the menu item level, it's not possible to easily create multiple menu links to the same set of content. For example, what if I want to have a page that shows a list of articles in a section, with just the title, readmore link, and filters, and then on another page, I want a more traditional blog style layout to the same section. With the current functionality, I can't do it.

Some of the following should be moved to menu item parameters to override the default:

Content Type
Template
Filter options
Element options
