This is a wery great idea- to make Aweber as a way to bukd a list and for registration at the same time. There some componets already being made but NON of them solve the issue.  For example: Intellispire just release component that uses your aweber list email to add isome one into your list.

The autor of this component anderstand well that there is a legal renafications oif you do it in a "wrong way" . That means aweber will close your account if you make registration seemles and combine registration with capturing lead into your lits.  But te guy at Intellispire do not understand the way  to make this component.  

SOLUTION:

Here is the ONLY and only correct way to combine aweber and registration: 

Your visitor complete aweber form and transfered to the page with Request for Registration. His/her data wil be passed opn to your registration with joomla or User component as soon as they confirm email.  So, on the actual registration form after their confirmation all fiels will need only to make a password .   Actually if you are programmer you can make it happens becoase aweber gives you instructions how to pass data from their form.  

Buttom line: Don buy any components for joomla , they are allcrap and make life even harder.  Make your Aweber form infront of registration as a way to screen for fake emails ( Aweber does it automatically) and give them some "unexpected" gifts or other "leads magnets". And make Registration( Joomla or Usr componet page) as a redirect from Aweber confirmatin or Thank you page ( without confirmation). 

Note: YOu need to hide your joomla registration page and change a code on joomla page that shows to some one enterd their logins incorrectly.

BETTER SOLUTION:

And i can be a super powerful addition to Mighty User component if  Mighty Extention Team can make Aweber plugin or module to combine aweber and User  THE WAY i deascribed at the beginning of this post.

Bottom line: Don waist you money on Intellispire component, it is absolutely nonsence and waist of time.  Better - send the same amount to Mighty as a "gift" to sponsor that work so they wil make what you need and they will make it right way.
